Chloe has a Thyroglossal Duct Cyst in her little neck. She had an emergency Cat Scan last Friday which showed that the bump in her neck was only a cyst and nothing more serious. She is scheduled for a consult with a surgeon in 2 weeks and will undergo surgery shortly after that. It was a scary few hours in the hospital last week, but it could have been worse. Please keep Chloe Jean Ju in your prayers for a few weeks.

Thyroglossal Duct Cyst
Chloe has a Thyroglossal Duct Cyst in her little neck. She had an emergency Cat Scan last Friday which showed that the bump in her neck was only a cyst and nothing more serious. She is scheduled for a consult with a surgeon in 2 weeks and will undergo surgery shortly after that. It was a scary few hours in the hospital last week, but it could have been worse. Please keep Chloe Jean Ju in your prayers for a few weeks.

Oh bless her little heart (and neck)! Haven't commented for a while, but have been checking in now and then to see your gorgeous Chloe. We'll say extra prayers for her and hope all goes well with her surgery.

Hi. I came across your blog about the Thyroglossal Duct Cyst. I am a nervous mom. My Son has one of right now and was taken many scans, blood work, nothing serious, he is going to have surgery this upcoming March to remove the cyst.
Any serious scarring or just minimal? How was the experience for your daughter and your experience with the surgery? My son will turn 5 this March as well.
